CRITICAL INSTALLATION & ADHESIVE GUIDELINES (Please Read Before Installation)
To ensure the longevity and beauty of your glass bricks, strict adherence to proper adhesive selection is required.
Approved Adhesive:
- Neutral Mirror Sealant ONLY (e.g., V-Tech VT-622 Neutral Mirror Sealant or equivalent 100% neutral cure sealants).
- Neutral sealants are non-corrosive and specifically formulated to protect reflective/electroplated metallic backing layers.
STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
- Do NOT use Acetic Silicone Sealants / Acid-Cure Sealants (e.g., V-Tech VT-210 or standard acid-curing silicone).
- Do NOT use Acidic Cleaners or Corrosive Adhesives.
Why? Acidic sealants release acetic acid during the curing process. Acetic acid will chemically react with and corrode the electroplated finish, causing discoloration, black spots, and peeling.
